2018 World Cup logo was designed by Brandia Central, a brand consulting agency based in Lisbon, Portugal. Central won the pitching Brandia involving eight Russian and international agencies.
"The launch of this visual icon is an important milestone on the road to the 2018 World Cup, and we are very proud to share that with the world," said Blatter in FIFA's official website.
"This logo combines the unique attributes of the World Cup and Russia as the host. It brings together the magic and dreams, as you would with a World Cup title to millions of fans in 2018," he said.
Russia will host the 2018 World Cup in 12 stadiums located in 11 cities. The 11 cities were chosen as World Cup organizers are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Samara, Volgograd, Rostov, Sochi, Saransk, and Yekaterinburg.(detikSport)
