This 23 Nobel candidate FIFA Ballon d'Or 2014

Zurich - last year's winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, and a four-time winner Lionel Messi again nominated for world player award in 2014. The players of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich dominated the list.

As they had done before, the list is compiled by FIFA and France Football magazine renowned football. The final decision will be made by the captain and coach of the national team as well as the media designated by France Football.

On 1 December, 23 names will be reduced to three finalists who will compete for the prestigious individual award that received the most votes. In addition it was announced the best goal of the year candidate, the best women players, and coaches the best sons.

Winners will be announced in a gala FIFA Ballon d'Or, held in Zurich, Switzerland on 25 January. As quoted from the official FIFA website.
