London - Not infrequently seen football players gathered around the referee when responding to a particular incident. The use of video technology is believed to be the solution of the scenery is not slick.
One of the latest examples in a fairly large-scale performances take place at the beginning of this month, after Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic manage Chelsea Oscar in the Champions League.
Ibrahimovic when it was red-carded with nine players the Blues had seen crowding the referee Bjorn Kuipers. This raises a big discussion about the pressure field received by the court.
FA chairman Greg Dyke underlined that the use of video technology will reduce the habit of players gathered around the referee, which in turn will improve the discipline and respect for the corps of black clothes.
"The first speech I've ever done while undergoing this work is about video technology. In 20 years we will say, 'Is not it strange we never use video technology?'," Said Dyke as reported by the London Evening Standard.
"Even when we discuss it in the IFAB (International Football Association Board), the parties do not agree even accept that it will still happen. If in the end we will do it, why not now ?," he said.
Dyke said that the Football Association fully supports the use of video technology which he also predicted the inevitableits use in the future. He also mentioned that it still takes tested.
"I personally would start applying it slowly. I'll start from the deciding moments - goals, red card and penalty. Maybe offside. The Netherlands already has a system that can directly determine the offside. It's just a matter of time," he said .
"We have to start doing to help the referee. In a world with 35 cameras monitoring the game mostly, the referee did not have an easy job. We have seen the statistics that showed a large increase in the incidence of players gathered around referees this season."
"I do not make the rules, but we can look back on the system and asking what can we do to make that sort of thing (crowding referee) become more difficult. There is a real problem. If you look at the last 3-4 years, the situation is relatively located in one point and suddenly increases, "explained Dyke.(detikSport)
