London - Tottenham Hotspur's efforts to penetrate the big four challenged after losing to Manchester United. If there is a player who can lift the Spurs back, according to Emmanuel Adebayor, it was Harry Kane.
Kane is the top scorer in the Premier League Spurs. 21-year-old attacker was already packed 16 goals, only to lose from Diego Costa (18 goals) and Sergio Aguero (17 goals). Overall, Kane scored 26 goals in all competitions.
But Kane failed to make a goal as the Spurs defeated 0-3 of the 'Red Devils' at Old Trafford last weekend. The defeat leaves Spurs fell to seventh with 50 points, six points behind Manchester United is in fourth place.
For Adebayor, Kane is a Spurs hope to finish in the Champions League zone. If Kane remained prolific scoring, Adebayor confident Spurs can penetrate the big four.
"I think he is the only one who can save our season, as I did last season," said Adebayor, who scored 14 goals in the last five months of the 2013/2014 season.
"He also learned through difficult moments but he is a fantastic player. If he keeps scoring goals every week, he can save us," said the Togo striker.
"We all have confidence in him. Hopefully, he will lift us out of seven large and puts us in the top four," he said as preached Sky Sports.(detikSport)
