Lisbon - Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov, claiming to want to re-sod in Serie A despite realizing it difficult to be realized. Kolarov also praised Sinisa Mihajlovic and Lazio.
Kolarov was playing regularly this season and more often to the bench. He recently appeared as a starter 10 times in the Premier League this season as manager Manuel Pellegrini more often lowered Gael Clichy on the left back position.
Some time ago, Kolarov was touted to be the target of Inter Milan. Serbian defender was reportedly wanted by Roberto Mancini, the former City manager who is now coaching Inter.
"I want to go back to Italy, but it was difficult," said Kolarov, who is under contract with City until 2017, told Sky Italia.
In the same occasion, Kolarov also praised Mihajlovic this season quite successfully coached Sampdoria. He also hopes his former club, Lazio, can penetrate the Champions League.
"I am pleased to Mihajlovic. He works very well. Likewise Lazio," he said.
"They live a very good season and I hope they can finish in third or even second," said Kolarov.(detikSport)
