London - Adam Lallana pulled out of the England national team due to injury. To replace him, the Three Lions call Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Ryan Mason.
Lallana failed to appear for England in two upcoming international matches against Lithuania and Italy. Liverpool midfielder suffered a groin injury in the match against Manchester United at the weekend.
To fill the position left by Lallana, England enter the name of Mason. This is the first time for Mason into the senior national team. Previously, he appeared for the England U-19 and U-20 England.
Mason became one of the mainstays in the Spurs midfield this season. The 23-year-old has appeared 29 times for Spurs in all competitions and scored two goals.
Lallana is not the only player who missed England's first training session on Monday (23/03/2015) local time. Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph still not joined the team because of illness.
Previously, Fraser Forster and Luke Shaw had already retreated from England. Instead, the British call Rob Green, Jack Butland, and Danny Rose.
England will host Lithuania in the continuation of the European Cup Qualification 2016, Friday (03/27/2015). Four days later, England face Italy in a friendly match.(detikSport)
