Zagreb - Croatia Travel in the European Cup qualifier in 2016 has so far been smooth. Croatia is now aiming for victory over Italy to smooth out the mission qualify as group winners.
Croatia are unbeaten in five games played in the 2016 European Cup qualifiers so far. They recorded four wins and one draw. Finally, the direction of Niko Kovac's team won 5-1 over Norway.
The results are put Croatia at the top of Group H with 13 points. They are two points ahead of Italy which directly beneath it.
Now Croatia is determined to maintain its position at the top of the standings to qualify for the finals. To smooth step towards France, victory over Italy became the next target.
"Our target is to qualify from Group H with in the first position," said the Croatian midfielder, Luka Modrid, as quoted by Football Italia.
"Against Italy, we draw in Milan (1-1 on 16 November) and I think at the next meeting we will beat them," said the Real Madrid players believe.
Croatia will host Italy in the 2016 European Cup qualifier on June 12 next. At the first meeting at the San Siro last November, the two teams drew 1-1.(detikSport)
