London - Since recruited Arsenal in 2013, Mesut Ozil was never separated from the expectations and spotlight. But he insists it is still very comfortable in Arsenal and in England so dismissed the possibility of grazing in other places, including returning home to Germany.
In his second season with the Gunners, the 26-year-old has made eight goals and 15 assists from 42 Premier League matches ever he went through.
That number will continue to be compared with a notch 47 assists from 105 La Liga games ever he please register for four seasons for Real Madrid.
Even so Ozil insists no need to prove anything in front of his critics. He nonetheless been and continue to work very hard to adapt to English football and is very comfortable in Arsenal.
"Back to Germany is not an option for me at this time. I am very happy at Arsenal and still want to continue," said Ozil to the Express edition of Germany and quoted the London Evening Standard.
"I've played in the Bundesliga and in Real Madrid. But the English Premier League is the toughest league in the world. Opponents never attacked. Even when Arsenal 3-0, the players we did not ever stop fighting until the final seconds."
"You can only be successful here with the physical being at a high level. I do not need to prove anything. But it's true I have to work hard to achieve the goal."
"That's why I've been working as hard as I had never done before in life. My body is more stable and I feel more refreshed. You need it in the UK," he said.(detikSport)
