Jakarta - After a three-month rolling competition in 2015, Lionel Messi is considered as the best striker in Europe. Messi's two closest competitors on the list was Arjen Robben and Bas Dost, while Cristiano Ronaldo is on the order of 29.
Thus the results of research conducted CIES (The International Centre for Sports Studies) in the first three months of 2015. An independent research organization based in Switzerland is doing research on five domestic competition which is considered the best in Europe, namely La Liga, Premier League, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A.
There are six assessment indicators are used, which is referred to as Key Performance Indicators. These indicators are shooting, chance creation, take-ons, distribution, recovery and rigour.
From these indicators Messi, who has made 17 goals in La Liga since the new year, managed to raise the highest value and is considered as the most effective striker. Messi is not the only Barcelona player who was on the top of the list because Luis Suarez is at number four and Neymar at position 12.
