Age Almost Half a Century, 'King Kazu' Still Can Make Goals


Yokohama - Elders taro, the older the more so. Back expression is fitting addressed to aging players from Japan, Kazuyoshi Miura, who can still make a goal at the age of nearly half a century.

Miura, may be the only professional footballer who is a career at the age of 48 years has now been stepped on, where he just turned 40 the day before.

Currently player known by the nickname 'King Kazu' was playing for second division club Japan, Yokohama FC, who already strengthening since 2005. There has been no sign of Miura will retire even though he was barely old five heads.

Miura even showed that he can still score goals like the young age players. It was shown when dealing with Jubilo Iwata Yokohama on Sunday (5/4) yesterday.

Miura scored the opener in the 14th minute when crossing from the right side of the goal with a sniper gored to Iwata, who then Miura celebrating the goal with a little jig. Unfortunately Yokohama eventually be subdued by a score of 2-3.
Miura goal was to be the first after the last time he made a goal in November 2013 also broke another record as the oldest goalscorer in the Japanese League.
