Madrid - Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said he was happy and satisfied with his team's victory over Rayo Vallecano. Ancelotti assess Madrid win after raising the level in the second half.
Madrid beat host Rayo 2-0 in La Liga at the Campo de Futbol de Vallecas, Thursday (04/09/2015). Two goals Los Merengues scored by Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez in the second half.
Ancelotti admits that his team's performance in the first half less than the maximum. The Italian is also giving some instruction at halftime.
"We were too rushed in the first half. I told the players that they must provide pressure with a higher intensity on the front line in the second half. In the end, we performed very complete and deserved to win," Ancelotti said on the club's official website .
"It is because we are raising our level of intensity, not Rayo declining. We are much more comfortable in the second half," he continued.
"I came home with a very happy and very satisfied with our performance in the second half. The attitude of good players, we play well, and we are strong physically. That's what I want," said Ancelotti.
The victory over Rayo made within Madrid and Barcelona in the La Liga standings board unchanged. Madrid still finished second, four points adrift of his eternal rival.(detikSport)
