La Liga Player of the Year Ronaldo 2013/2014

Madrid - Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the best player of La Liga 2013/2014 season. Not only Ronaldo, a number of other Real Madrid players also gets the award.

Ronaldo looks very impressive last season with Madrid. A total of 31 goals scored by the Portuguese attacker makes the top scorer of La Liga, ahead of Lionel Messi by a margin of three goals.

Top performance is remarkable that, Ronaldo was crowned as the best player of La Liga. He received the award in the event LFP Gala at the Hotel Auditorium Madrid, Monday (10/27/2014).

"I have to thank my teammates, Real Madrid, my family. It was a great moment in my career," said Ronaldo.

"For me, the important thing is to win trophies with the team. But, I also love the individual award. I work every day in training, so that more and more to achieve it," he continued.

Aside from being selected as Player of the Year, Ronaldo was also awarded the Best Attacker. Additionally, Ronaldo also carried off the Best Goal award for his goal against Valencia in the Jornada 36.

Meanwhile, the Best Goalkeeper award fell into the hands Keylor Navas, who performed brilliantly last season along with Levante and has now moved to Madrid. Sergio Ramos has been named the Best Defender, while Luka Modric and Andres Iniesta each awarded the Best Midfielder and Best Midfield.

Diego Simeone was awarded Coach of the Year for his success delivering a champion Atletico Madrid La Liga last season. Fair Play awards fall into the hands of Ivan Rakitic (Sevilla, Barcelona now) and Real Sociedad.

Award the best players for each position as well as the best coach is determined through voting by three captains of each team. But, they are not allowed to select players from his own club. For the award of the best goals are determined through a poll on the internet.(
