Barcelona - Barcelona still comfortably entrenched at the top of La Liga thanks to a victory over Almeria. Striker Luis Suarez Barca also reminded the importance of maintaining the current focus because they are in control of the competition in La Liga.
Barca finish the game in the Jornada 30 with a 4-0 win over Almeria on Thursday (04/09/2015). Suarez scored two goals in the party at the Nou Camp.
These results make sure Barca still tops the standings with a fairly comfortable margin. If any Real Madrid, the team second place, winning the match in this Jornada they will only come back to close the gap with Barcelona to four points.
Under these conditions, of course, Barca will be champions if they continue to maintain that advantage. Suarez was hoping would be so.
"We know if we do not stay focused on the league so we never got the three points," Suarez said as quoted by Reuters.
"Our fate (to be champion) is in his own hands and we have to keep playing the same way as this," said 28-year-old attacker.(detikSport)
