London - FA expelled follow any incidents that occurred in the match Manchester City vs West Bromwich Albion. FA has lifted a red card for Gareth McAuley and "mengopernya" to Craig Dawson.
McAuley was given a straight red card by referee Neil Swarbrick when West Brom defeated City 0-3 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday (3/21/2015) ago. He had to leave the field when the game was barely two minutes walk.
But, after the fight ended, Swarbrick admitted that he drove the wrong player. That should he acungi red card is Dawson. Dawson violated when Bony Wilfried Bony had a good chance to score.
As a follow up to the recognition Swarbrick, the FA decided to transfer the red card from McAuley to Dawson. Dawson also now have to undergo a one-match suspension.
"Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing, the claim of mistaken identity related West Bromwich Albion player Gareth McAuley approved. The player was sent off in the match against Manchester City on Saturday due to thwart a clear scoring opportunity," wrote the FA on the official website.
"Punishment is the standard one-match suspension was transferred to Craig Dawson and will take effect immediately."(detikSport)
