Milan - Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini, expects his team to qualify for European competition next season. To meet these targets, Mancini asked his players clean sweep of victories in the rest of the season.
After going through 28 matches, Inter still scattered in mid-table Serie A. Collect 37 points, the Nerazzurri are in tenth position.
Inter's chances to qualify for European competition next season, both the Champions League and Europa League, it has not been closed. However, their chances are not too great because of competition with the only remaining 10 games.
Inter is now within 15 points of third-placed Lazio or lows to qualify for the Champions League. To reach the Europa League, they also have to work very hard because there is a distance of 10 points with Napoli who sits in fifth position.
However, Mancini asked his men did not give up. He hoped mop in the rest of the season will be enough to deliver Inter to European competition next season.
"I've asked 10 victory of the players between now and the end of the season," Mancini said when answering questions fans on Facebook, as quoted by Football Italia.
"We will fight to the end to qualify for the Europa League. Next year we have to compete in the race for the Scudetto," said Mancini.
In the rest of the season, Inter still have to face heavy opponents, such as AC Milan (19/4), Roma (25/4), Lazio (10/5), and Juventus (17/5).(detikSport)
